Eligibility and Requirements


Students are eligible to register for internships during the fall, spring, winter, and summer sessions. Interns earn three credits by working 120 hours at the internship site and completing academic and career-related assignments.


All internships must be approved by the Director for The Oxley Career Education Program/ and/or Internship Coordinator and the Internship Supervisor in the academic department. Students may earn up to six credits for internships during their time at the college. Academic credit is not given for any paid employment.

Students are required to sign an Internship Agreement, which specifies the number of hours they will work per week, their responsibilities, and their internship assignments. The site supervisor, faculty supervisor, and Director for The Center for Academic Advisement and The Oxley Career Education Program also sign the agreement.

Registered students should submit the agreement to the by the end of the first week of classes.
