Nursing Transfer Students – Application Checklist and Timeline

Students seeking to transfer into the Nursing program at the Mount may do so as early as the first semester of their sophomore year and as late as the fall of junior year. Prospective students must apply through the CMSV App.

Admission Requirements for U.S. Citizens

Minimum GPA

  • 3.3 cumulative GPA
  • 3.0 GPA in prerequisite coursework
  • Minimum of B or better in all science and math prerequisites

Test Score Requirements
1100 combined score on SAT or 22 composite score on ACT. If you score below an 1100, you must register for the TEAS Exam and must earn a passing score, 65 or better.

Admission Requirements for International Students

Minimum GPA

  • 3.3 cumulative GPA
  • 3.0 GPA in prerequisite coursework
  • Minimum of B or better in all science and math prerequisites

Test Score Requirements
6.5 minimum of IELTS or 80 minimum on computer-based TOEFL

An interview with the Office of Admission is required for all international applicants.
